Madrid, 5 October 2026. OdiseIA4Good will take part on 22 and 23 October in Cuenca in a dialogue panel at the Autumn School of the Spanish Volunteering Platform, dedicated to the social impact of artificial intelligence.
- What: Dialogue panel on volunteering and artificial intelligence
- When: 22 and 23 October 2026
- Where: Cuenca
- Event: Autumn School of the Spanish Volunteering Platform, supported by the United Nations
The session will address the opportunities AI technologies can bring to volunteer action, social organisations and communities, as well as the risks that can arise when they are used without adequate criteria of fairness, transparency, data protection and human oversight.
Social AI
OdiseIA4Good will argue that artificial intelligence can strengthen the ability of social organisations to analyse needs, improve accessibility, support training processes, personalise resources and extend the reach of their initiatives. However, these advances must be developed while avoiding bias, discrimination, digital exclusion and automated decisions that affect rights without sufficient safeguards.
The participation is part of OdiseIA4Good’s Social Impact Area, through which it promotes educational projects, inclusion initiatives and an International Network of Ambassadors to bring AI knowledge to everyday spaces.
OdiseIA4Good considers that AI literacy should be a shared social capability and not knowledge reserved for technical profiles or large organisations.
