Madrid, 5 October 2026. The president of OdiseIA4Good, Idoia Salazar, will take part as keynote speaker at the Caribbean AI Summit, to be held on 8 and 9 October in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

In her talk, Salazar will address the challenges posed by the expansion of agentic artificial intelligence systems, increasingly autonomous and able to carry out tasks, make operational decisions and coordinate actions with varying levels of human intervention.
AI with criteria
The talk will analyse the need to build principles of governance, transparency, traceability, risk assessment and human oversight into the early stages of design and deployment of these systems. The aim is to help ensure that the evolution of agentic AI meets criteria of safety, accountability and respect for fundamental rights.
